Nylon hex bolts are engineered plastic fasteners manufactured from high-grade Polyamide 66 (PA66) material, offering an ideal combination of electrical insulation, corrosion resistance, and lightweight construction. Unlike metallic bolts, nylon bolts are completely non-magnetic and non-conductive, making them the preferred choice for electrical panels, PCB assemblies, switchgear cabinets, chemical processing equipment, and environments where galvanic corrosion or electromagnetic interference is a concern. Their resistance to a wide range of chemicals, oils, fuels, and dilute acids makes them suitable for demanding industrial environments without any surface treatment or coating. Available in natural white and black variants, nylon bolts offer excellent dimensional stability and are RoHS compliant. Suitable for light to medium-duty fastening applications where metal fasteners would cause electrical shorts or accelerate corrosion.
