Flange Bolt – Serrated

Serrated flange bolts incorporate anti-loosening teeth machined into the underside of the flange face. When tightened, these serrations bite into the mating surface, creating a mechanical lock that prevents the bolt from backing off under vibration, shock, and thermal cycling. This makes them the preferred choice for applications subject to continuous vibration such as engine mounts, suspension brackets, exhaust systems, and agricultural machinery. The serrated flange also eliminates the need for a separate lock washer, reducing assembly time and component count. Available in Grade 8.8 and 10.9 with zinc or black oxide finish to suit different corrosion and strength requirements.
