CD Weld Stud

Capacitor Discharge (CD) weld studs are welded using a burst of stored electrical energy discharged in milliseconds. The ultra-short weld cycle produces minimal heat input, eliminating burn-through and discolouration on the reverse side.

Suitable for thin or painted sheet metal, stainless steel, and aluminium surfaces. Widely used in automotive trim, signage, appliances, and architectural metalwork.
