Self Tapping Screw

Self-tapping screws are designed to cut or form their own thread as they are driven into the material — no pre-tapping or nut required. The hardened tip pierces sheet metal, plastic, and thin wood, creating a mating thread for a secure hold.

Widely used in sheet metal fabrication, HVAC ductwork, electrical panels, and automotive body work. Available in zinc-plated mild steel and SS 304 for corrosion-prone environments.
