Nylon insert lock nuts (Nylock nuts) are prevailing torque-type fasteners that incorporate a nylon collar at the top of the nut. As the bolt engages the nylon section, the deformation of the nylon creates a strong gripping force around the threads, effectively preventing the nut from loosening under vibration, shock, and cyclic loading without any additional locking mechanism.

MS Nylock nuts are widely used in automotive assemblies, HVAC equipment, conveyor systems, and general machinery where vibration resistance is critical. Their zinc-plated finish provides protection against moisture and light corrosion in indoor and semi-sheltered environments. DIN 985 compliant.
